Foxtrot Marketing Group recently ranked on PPB’s competitive “2021 Greatest Companies to Work for” list.
PPAI Media, the owner of PPB Magazine, has conducted the annual competition since 2011 but put it on hold last year because of the pandemic. The competition is open to all PPAI member companies with at least five full-time employees. According to the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), there are more than 30,000 distributor firms and 3,500 supplier companies in the promotional products industry. More than 15,000 distributors and suppliers are members of PPAI.
“This competition is extremely popular and competitive, and we were so happy to be able to reinstate it this year. After the challenges we’ve all been through over the past 15 months or so, it was a joy to give our member companies a way to engage their employees and an opportunity to celebrate,” says Tina Berres Filipski, PPB’s editor and director of publications.
Companies included in the competition had to be nominated by an employee. Then a 15-question survey was sent to every full-time employee to rate their company in five areas: benefits, resources, culture, leadership, and company direction. Companies were also required to meet a percentage of completed surveys. The survey results were then tabulated to reveal this year’s top companies.
PPB will profile the winning companies in the magazine’s July issue.
“This recognition is a validation of the strong, servant leadership culture we’ve created in our organization,” said Jill Haspert, CEO of Foxtrot Marketing Group. “I’m proud of our team and our ongoing efforts to make Foxtrot a great place to work.”

“Foxtrot Marketing Group reflects the speedy precision and emphasis we place on providing customers with the best online company store experience.” - Jill Haspert, Chief Executive Officer, Foxtrot Marketing Group
Foxtrot Marketing Group in South St. Paul, Minnesota, has announced its new name and rebranding. For more than 40 years, 20/20 Brand Solutions has served business customers as a promotional products distributor. Recognizing that their customers needed a partner that went beyond ordering, decorating, and delivering apparel, drinkware, and other items, the company knew it was time for a name that better reflected their vision to provide strategic e-commerce solutions. Working with Minneapolis agency Capsule, Foxtrot Marketing Group was created.
The new name was inspired by the Foxtrot dance which requires partners to work in close coordination to perform the graceful ballroom steps. The logo was designed to represent the forward-thinking, agile approach Foxtrot Marketing Group uses working with their customers. “Each organization has different needs and goals with their online company store, and we use a consultative process to efficiently create a custom e-commerce experience,” said COO Dan Luk. “Ultimately, we want to make it easy for our customers and their end users to select, order, and receive apparel and other items bearing their company’s logo,” Luk added.
Five years ago, the company was purchased by Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures (MLCV), the business arm of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, located in East Central Minnesota. During that time, 20/20 Brand Solutions grew through acquisition, new clients, and enhanced in-house capabilities, including screen printing and embroidery.
“We’ve been so focused on helping our customers build brand awareness and loyalty that our own brand had taken a bit of a back seat,” said CEO Jill Haspert. “Our new brand more accurately represents our energy and commitment to helping our customers succeed.”
“Our goal is to make our customers’ brands the star of the show and to help our customers grow their business.” - Dan Luk, Chief Operating Officer, Foxtrot Marketing Group
