Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will work in our shipping and receiving department, managing incoming and outgoing orders. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, you will unload deliveries from trucks, move inventory to the correct shelving location, fulfill orders, and load up trucks for outbound orders. You must be meticulous and ensure each order is filled accurately. We prefer candidates who have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train the right person.

What you will do:

Process receipt and shipment of materials and products.

Details of key activities:

  • Receiving: verify receipts against purchase orders
  • Route/transport product to appropriate location
  • Pick and pack (includes kitting), verify shipments against customer orders
  • Prepare shipping documents
  • Resolve discrepancies
  • Count inventory stock
 

Technical Skill Requirements:

  • Basic inventory control knowledge
  • Distribution documentation requirements
  • Business systems software
  • May use bar code readers or radio frequency scanners
  • UPS/FedEx equipment

Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Fork lift/material handling equipment certification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Entry level

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities, be highly responsive to work directions and meet critical deadlines
